 | Garage In The Plains New Project just completed! When an old client of ours decided he needed more storage space he called Craftsman Construction. The client wanted a quaint little garage that was large on details. |
 | Front Royal Remodel This house was built in the 50’s and it was a real mess. The previous owner had abandoned the property and it was up to Craftsman Construction to save it. |
 | Custom Plains Home The owner of this house wanted the most energy efficient house he could afford. After the architect designed an affordable floor plan that kept the cost of construction down, Craftsman Construction went to work. We started with an ICF foundation that has over an R30 rating, we then proceed to install radiant heating pipes in the basement floor. |

 | Addition to a 100-year-old Home The owner of this house was experiencing claustrophobia with 3 teenage kids they desperately needed more space. The clients were very ecology minded and as such we had to be as Green as we could. They wanted to use as many natural materials as possible as well as being energy efficient. |
 | Art Studio This was an interesting little project. The home owner wanted us to convert an old barn into an art studio and a small garage. We started by tearing down pretty much everything except one wall, this let us call it a remodel and not new construction. The building has some nice touches such as standing seam roof, James Hardi siding, 1 ½” thick tongue and grove pine flooring, spray foam insulation and cedar walls and ceiling on the interior. Custom built cabinets inside for the owner’s art supplies round out the project. |

 | Architect's Custom Home When a prominent local architect needed a contractor to build his own home he turned to Craftsman Construction. Most contractors would shy away from working for an architect with there critical eye for detail, but Craftsman Construction was up to the challenge. We worked closely with the client to help him bring his ideas to life. The unusual design and finish details, as well as the clients desire to use only the best materials made for an interesting project. |
 | Indoor Poolhouse With the clients demand for a year round structure built with the finest materials available the architects went to work. This pool house has it all with a retractable glass roof that opens with the touch of a button. The granite pool deck and granite walls with inlays makes for a maintenance free facility that is very elegant. With a mahogany kitchen for entertaining, bathroom with shower facilities and heat and air-conditioning, the clients expectations were fulfilled. |
 | Bathroom Remodel The client of this condo didn’t want the existing bathtub and asked us to design him a new bathroom without the tub. After removing the tub and reframing the bathroom for a stall shower, we came up with a really nice tile design. The whole shower was tiled from floor to ceiling with some nice inlays and a shampoo niche. We left a window opening in the shower that we then installed glass blocks to allow more light into the shower. We completed the bathroom with matching tiles half way up the remaining walls. |

| Custom Home in Potomac
This was a record setting addition to an already spectacular home. Some really interesting highlights are an underground parking garage, several elevators, wine cave with tasting room, 2 lane bowling alley with automated pin setters, gymnasium, automated lighting controls, radiant heat in the driveways for snow melting and much more. The level of detail inside and out was spectacular. |
 | Indoor Residential Sports Complex The client wanted to have all his favorite sports at his finger tips and this building fits the bill. With a regulation tennis court, basketball hoops that retract out of the way and an Ice Hockey ring, there’s not much you can’t do in this building. The interior of the building is finished in stone and mahogany while the exterior is finished in stone and limestone. This is truly a unique building for a discriminating client. |

| Custom Home in Edinburg This home was built with craftsman details. From the deep overhangs on the roof to the tapered stone columns, this house has the period feel of the craftsman era. Using the concept of the Not So Big House by Sarah Susanka the square footage is kept to a minimum but the materials and craftsmanship were all top of the line. The custom stairway was fabricated from mahogany, walnut, and white oak, a one of a kind design by Craftsman Construction. |
 | Custom Deck The client was looking for a large deck to entertain and BBQ on. Instead of going with your standard square deck, we decided to go with a two level deck with 45 degree corners to make the deck more interesting. The deck was built on concrete piers and pressure treated posts. With a privacy fence on one side and the deck surface laid at a 45 degree angle, the client was very happy with the overall design and execution. |

 | House Remodel This 1973 split level was in need of a change. On the exterior the old plywood siding was removed and replaced with cypress lap siding and cedar T&G siding. All the old windows where replaced with energy efficient Anderson windows. A front and side porch were added and a new roof installed. On the inside a new kitchen and 3 new bathrooms were constructed. A home office was built downstairs and built-ins for the boys room were installed. Overall a very nice remodel for a happy client. |

| Whole House Remodel This project was a complete gut and redo. The front of the house had a barrel vault porch added. 2 massive hand carved mahogany doors finished dressing up the front entry way. 2 large arch toped windows were added to each side of the fireplace. An all new custom kitchen was added. A two story arched walkway was constructed in the front foyer. A coffered ceiling in the dinning room and built-ins thru-out make this project one of a kind. |
